Preface: In 1999 I spent six weeks in Amherst - including visits to Boston, New York, Washington and Salt Lake City - on a Fulbright Grant together with 29 other teachers from all over the world. This Teachers' Summer Institute (TSI) - organised by the Institute for Training and Development (ITD) in Amherst - had started in 1998 and is being continued annually until today. Soon the idea was born to invite participants for a reunion after 10 years. Thanks to invaluable and completely voluntary efforts of the ITD staff this happened in August 2008 and about 40 alumni took part. (For names see this list!) ITD: Thanks a lot!!!
